Responsibilities
-Manage all packaging related activities in line with the organizations business plans
-Manage all major packaging change projects
-Assess and audit all new and current packaging suppliers as and when required
-Raise specifications in a timely manner
-Lead packaging Margin Improvements
-Work closely with and mentor/train subordinates
-Seek out innovative options for our current and new packaging projects
-Assist in standardizing all our packaging
-Ensure that all packaging meet the regulatory / standards requirements
-Introduce systems/paperwork for all our processes
-Assist in purchasing packaging equipment
-Support our technical team to resolve packaging related issues
-Reports to Senior Manager Packaging

Qualifications
-Minimum BSC (Minimum Second Class Lower) / HND (Minimum Lower Credit) from a reputable university, either in Nigeria or abroad, in food, science or Engineering related fields.
-A diploma from the UK institute of packaging an M.Sc (Sciences or Social sciences) or an MBA will be an added advantage.
-Minimum 5 years work experience in an FMCG company or/and a research agency within a Packaging environment is essential
