General Manager at Recare

Recare is a leader in the marketing of Personal style products in Africa. With-operations in Nigeria and South Africa, we provide key products and solutions to the beauty industry.

Our award winning international brands, Natures Gentle Touch and Hair Savvy offer solutions to hair and scalp problems such as hair breakage, hair loss, slow hair growth and dandruff. Nigeria’s only supermodel Oluchi Onweagba is our brand ambassador.
We are looking for a General Manager with deep industry knowledge and experience to drive our mission to empower individuals to embrace their unique sense of style.

Job title: General Manager

Responsibilities
The General Manager will provide leadership and direction and coordinate all activities of the company in accordance with the goals and objectives of the organisation to expand and grow the business.
-Formulation and implementation of objectives and strategic plans.
-Drive achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
-Developing and maintaining effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders including customers, funders, shareholders and partners.
-Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the organization are effectively and efficiently coordinated and implemented to achieve goals and annual targets.
-Building and maintaining a high performance culture through effective performance management communication and coaching of staff.


Requirements
-First degree in any discipline
-An MBA will be an advantage
-Minimum of 15 years experience in the FMCG, particularly in the beauty industry. Must be currently a General Manager or equivalent position.
